Fusion Furniture Painting - Beginners 101 Workshop 1

The beginners 101 workshop will teach you everything to get you started with furniture painting. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to refine their technique using different finishes. A small project is provided for you to work on and take home beautifully finished!

Once you have mastered the basics techniques required for painting furniture successfully, you may want to go on and learn some more involved skills and advanced techniques by attending our advanced workshop.

Fusion Furniture Painting -
Advanced Workshops
​
The advanced workshop follows on from our stage one course. You would have attended the 101 Workshop for beginners and be familiar with our paints and products. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to learn various finishing techniques that can be applied to painted furniture and home accessories.
​
The advanced workshop will show you how to dry brush and blend paints to create a vintage, layered look. We will also use Fusion Fresco to create texture and ageing and finish off with metallics.
Classes sizes are kept small to optimise your learning experience.

Lampshade Making
How about making your very own lampshade? Here you will learn how to make a simple hard backed lampshade suitable for a table lamp. You can bring your own fabric if you already have a scheme to match or choose from a selection of fabrics from our designers such as Linwood Fabrics, Charlotte Gaisford and Hannah Nunn.

Moodboards
Does your room feel at odds with itself or are you planning to re-decorate but don't know where to start?
Help is here to get your scheme pulled into shape with our moodboard workshop. Get your creative juices going and learn some keys tips on co-ordinating schemes with focus on fabrics, pattern, colour and style.

Abstract Painting Class
Abstract painting isn't always as simple as people think.
In this class Laura will show you techniques you can try to create your very own abstract work of art.
Using acrylic, waterbased paint we will provide you with a small stretched canvas or board plus all materials needed to work on your masterpiece to take home.

All of our workshops are based around interiors and designed to inspire you and help you enhance your home. If you'd like to try one of our workshops but don't see a time to suit, just call us and we'll do our best to arrange something for you.

The workshops will be held in our studio in Dunston where you will be warmly welcomed into our creative space.
Tuition is given by Laura, and other experts in their relative fields. The class sizes are kept small to optimise your learning experience. Costs and times of workshops vary so please check the details when booking.

Everything is provided including aprons and refreshments.
​
These workshops will give you the knowledge, inspiration and hopefully desire to practice and experiment at home. To help you get started with your projects, we offer you a 10% discount off all our Fusion products purchased on the day.

One to one courses are also available if you are wanting to cover a specific aspect and can be run over several sessions. If you are interested or would like more information please contact Jo or Laura by phone or email.

Please note: A £10 deposit is required to secure your place when booking. The balance is due for payment 1 week prior to your workshop date. If for any reason we need to cancel a workshop your payment will be reimbursed in full.
Should you need to cancel a booking, we ask that you give us a minimum of seven days notice as workshops are small and places are limited. We cannot guarantee a full refund if you cancel within seven days of your workshop date.
